As revealed unto Lord Business for the preservation of harmony and the prevention of chaos

Order 1:1–4 — The Purpose of Order
And it came to pass that the bins of the people were full,
yet their hearts were restless and their tables unclean.
For though they possessed many bricks,
they could not find the one they sought.
And Lord Business declared:
Order is not given to limit creation,
but to make creation possible.
For where order is absent, frustration reigneth,
and where frustration reigneth, the build is abandoned.

The First Commandment — Of Sorting
Order 2:1
Thou shalt sort thy bricks by type,
and by type only,
lest thou search endlessly for a plate among slopes.
Order 2:2
Color shall not come before function,
for a red brick found is better than a gray brick imagined.

The Second Commandment — Of Containers
Order 3:1
Thou shalt not store all things in one bin,
nor trust the “miscellaneous” box beyond its season.
Order 3:2
Bins shall be labeled plainly,
that even in weariness thou mayest find what thou seekest.

Order 4:1
Thou shalt honor the instructions,
even if thou intendest to ignore them later.
Order 4:2
Mock not the builder who followeth steps in order,
for stability is born of patience.

The Fourth Commandment — Of Builds in Progress
Order 5:1
A build once begun shall be given a place of rest,
and shall not be scattered upon the floor.
Order 5:2
Thou shalt not cannibalize a finished build
without first acknowledging its sacrifice.

The Fifth Commandment — Of Part Substitution
Order 6:1
Thou mayest substitute parts in times of need,
but thou shalt know in thy heart that thou hast done so.
Order 6:2
Temporary solutions shall not be called permanent
unless they survive the test of display.

The Sixth Commandment — Of Colors
Order 7:1
Interior bricks may be of any color,
for they are unseen and bear no shame.
Order 7:2
Exterior bricks shall be chosen with intention,
that the build may bring peace to the eye.

Order 8:1
Repetition bringeth unity,
and symmetry bringeth calm.

Break these only with purpose,
never with laziness.

Order 9:1
Thou shalt not shame another builder for their scale,
their style, nor their part count.
Order 9:2
For each builder is on their own stage of the build,
and comparison leadeth only to bitterness.

The Ninth Commandment — Of Storage Space
Order 10:1
Thou shalt not acquire bricks beyond thy ability to store them,
unless thou art prepared to acquire more storage.
Order 10:2
For the brick without a home
will surely find its way beneath bare feet.

Order 11:1
There shall come a time when thou must dismantle,
and thou shalt not mourn excessively.
Order 11:2
For bricks are eternal,
but builds are seasonal.

And Lord Business concluded, saying:
Order is not the enemy of creativity,
but its quiet partner.
Keep thy bricks sorted,
thy builds intentional,
and thy workspace ready.
For only then shall the builder build in peace.
